Ed Havran, a long time resident of Colleyville, Texas, was an alumnus of Texas Tech University who had worked with the Texas dairy industry from 1947-1984. He and his wife, Muriel, had collected material from the Texas dairy industry for thirty years. Most of Havran's life had been involved with the dairy industry.
