Ed Havran, a long time resident of Colleyville, Texas, was an alumnus of Texas Tech University who had worked with the Texas dairy industry from 1947-1984. He and his wife, Muriel, had collected material from the Texas dairy industry for thirty years. Most of Havran's life had been involved with the dairy industry. His father sold milk in Oklahoma during the 1920's and later moved the Havran family to Texas. As a member of the Future Farmers of America, Havran showed dairy cattle for competition...
